This is a Model Board-14. This is what was damaged on Monday morning, causing havoc on the Long Island Rail Road. This technology is circa 1913. I think it might be time to stop using the commuters’ outrageous fares to pay the LIRR’s lazy employees and start upgrading their system. The busiest commuter railroad in North America should not be using such archaic technology to serve its nearly 83 MILLION annual riders.
