Sugar and Spice and everything nice… Round 20:
Throughout most of the month of August, I would post a video of a live Spice Girls performance, daily. Towards the end of the month, I fell of the band-wagon and abandoned the series. ☹ Well, starting today, I’m bringing it back! ☺ Instead of a daily posting, I thought it would be better weekly. Let’s be real for a second — the Spice Girls only had three albums (to date), so there’s not a whole lot of material to choose from. I chose Monday because I feel that everyone could use a little spice to ease them back into their week!
Relaunching the series, is a song that gave the Spice Girls some actual credibility in the music industry. Viva Forever is quite possibly the best song in the girls’ catalog. This performance is from the 1999 “Christmas in Spiceworld” tour, after Geri Halliwell left the group.
