Ticket Stub Tuesday…Round Twenty-Five:
Oh, Sara, I feel like we go way back. This was the fourth, that’s right, fourth time that I’ve seen the ever effervescent, highly talented,  Sara Bareilles. This concert, that I saw with @SimTilver and Nikki was at Irving Plaza, which was re-branded as “The Fillmore” for a short time, when it was aquired by LiveNation.
We had such an excellent time — it was a beautiful Spring evening in New York City.

Again, this is another show that I don’t remember all too well. Reel Big Fish, was never really a favorite of mine, although I can get into a ska mood every now and then. We probably went to see whichever band was playing with them at the time, but I can’t recall who that could have been. I know that I definitely went with Raquel, Jon and Kristen… although I think that Virginia, Dan K. and Mike P. may have been there too. The day of the concert, it was POURING and we got absolutely soaked while waiting in line for the doors to open. It got pretty gross after everyone started moving around… wet cloths + body heat + Irving Plaza = one disgusting sauna experience.  I also remember that this was the first, and only, time that I crowed surfed. I was wearing my new Birkenstocks, which I had just purchased with my graduation money, (why I would wear suede shoes in the pouring rain, I do not know), and one of them fell off while I was being passed to the front. Promptly, I jumped down, got my shoe, put it back on and caught another wave!  All and all — pretty fun!
