This is great. A ‘suspicious’ van, abandoned in Times Square, has prompted a massive police response. And a cacophony of sirens, hampering my concentration and my ability to work. Bah. This is exactly why you will never find me in Times Square on New Year’s Eve!
Look @ this fucking faux pas. Back in April of 2002, these ads were in every Starbucks. Poor marketing decision? Over sensitive public? These ads were quite the topic for controversy. Do you think the scene resembles the terror of 9/11? Two cups and the looming dragonfly? I can see it. Not to mention the use of the word “collapse.” As in, what the towers did. Way to be sensitive, SBUX.
